Ethereal Earth Orbit

from Astrolabe I by Harlan Mark Vale

/

about

Hello Everyone,
Here is my latest album called, Astrolabe I. It is a collection of songs and explorations from 2022. These compositions are influenced in one way or another by using vocals more in the writing process. They appear in a traditional sense as with Lost In A Moment or drive the progressions in Near You. They lend themselves to melodic lines in Ballad Blues or in an abstract forms of channeling voices from Arrival.

This album in particular is presented here for all as a document that summarizes 2022 as a year of “that’s just the way it is”. I did not labor over the music for hours to sculpt the original ideas any further as I would have normally. But I felt it important enough to share my path with you in this release.

I sincerely hope that these new compositions involve and resonate you while using your own astrolabe, sextant or compass which helps guide you on your way through the worlds.

Be Well

Harlan Mark Vale
